Our business solutions team members will be visiting the businesses in the Downtown East and Downtown West fiberhoods in the month of July. Business installs in those fiberhoods are planned to begin in August. Our goal is to begin residential installs in those fiberhoods (Downtown East and Downtown West) in September.

This month’s feature of a Rainbow team member who works in our Atchison office is Cooper Slough, Video Production Coordinator. Cooper has worked at Rainbow for 4 years. His favorite part of video production is getting to know the people across Rainbow’s service territory and highlighting their unique contributions to the local economy. Another fun aspect of Cooper’s job is showing business owners and employees their line of work from a different perspective. Often, they are too busy working to stop and appreciate their own business; providing the moment for them to stop, reflect, and feel proud of themselves is what a video production is all about!

The construction crews are continuing to hang aerial fiber throughout different areas for phase one of our fiber build. You may also notice our splicing and drop crews around town. The crews are installing fiber drops on customer’s property in the Downtown East and Downtown West fiberhoods. If you submitted interest in fiber to your location, you will be receiving a fiber drop.

Construction is still in progress for phase one. Benedictine Collete is up and running on Rainbow’s fiber network! To read more about phase one, click here

Be sure to stop by and see us at the next First Friday event. Our team will be passing out balloons.

Stay tuned for another update in August! In the meantime, continue referring your friends and neighbors to submit their interest. You can also track your fiberhoods progress by typing in your address here.
